I have an original Phantom. With the aim of trying out these new Vision props, do you think there is any mileage in my idea of getting hold of a set of damaged self tightening motors? Likely source would be motors damaged by prop guard screws.

My thinking is to just change the outer case [bells I think they are called] from the faulty motors and fit them to my original motors.

    Any thoughts?

I don't see why that wouldn't work... Sad thing is, I don't have any new motors that are damaged around the shop :(

I have 2 damaged motors that have CW and CCW prop shafts. I also have 2 perfectly good motors with CW and CCW prop shafts and a spare working CW motor. Make me an offer + shipping from California.

Let me bear this in mind for a short while- to see if I can stumble on a UK source.
That said- a guide price would be good.
