TX on ,connect battery I get 3 green flashes then a constant flashing orange LED about every half a second which just keeps on going , Any ideas

I get this now and then. I just try to start the motors. They don't start but it seems to establish a connection between the transmitter and Phantom. It then starts the lock on for GPS and after a minute I'm ready to go.
Ian, what model of the Phantom do you have? It sounds like your aircraft isn't seeing or communicating with your transmitter. If you just bought it, or just did the firmware upgrade, you may need to change the receiver type in the NAZA assistant software (from "PPM" to "D-bus").
