I'm gonna be replacing the broken compass connection cable on my vision 2 when the part arrives.
Although I disassembled my ARDrone many times, this will be my first time opening my Phantom and I'm kinda nervous about performing surgery on my baby. Is there anything I should be especially careful with, or any advice or do's and don'ts when poking around it's innards?

    Thanks

    Nothing unusual inside.

But be careful loosening the 3-allen and one-phillips under each arm.

Be sure you use precise tools and maintain alignment to avoid stripping the heads.

Beware that the GPS cable is between the top and bottom halfs so remove the top slowly and remove the cable from the 'motherboard'.

    Edit:
    One more thing...
You do not need to remove the 4 motor allen screws to separate the halves.
    Save yourself the unnecessary efforts!
