So the organizers of USRowing are very concerned about drones disturbing athletes during their event. After some reassurances I convinced the Cascadia Rowing Assoc to let me try filming their race. I assured them I would keep the drone high enough it would not be a visual distraction to the rowers but could not promise they would not hear it.
Good news is no one complained and they Assoc is very happy with the footage from the weekend.
The flyover of the course at the start of the video I really like. Please excuse the less than perfect flying. Sadly on race day the image kept cutting out to my iPad mini 3 and I wold have no idea what the P3 Pro was filming, a lot of missed shots.
