So on GS... one would assume if you got a bit ambitious and your drone was on #12 of #16 way points and it runs low on power it would abort and go home, right? Or does GS somehow override the "Go Home" and continue on even if the power is low?

Nope...your bird autolands when the battery level is to low....better hope your lucky, or are a **** good planner.
