Off kilter flying

I just flew my drone, and while I was flying, I was pushing straight up on the right joystick (so it should be flying straight forward), but it was flying forward and also slightly to the left. There was virtually no wind (or gusts)
What would've caused this? How can I fix it?
I noticed it last time I flew it as well (but it wasn't as bad as this time)
I don't have the current firmware (I believe I have the one that was released end of august-ish), I know there was one released in November, I have the one just before that

calibrate, imnu and compass.

also, was the drone tilted left or the camera

Calibrate the controller maybe as well? I was finding the same thing when I extended my sticks all the way out. I found the extra length caused me to push up and to the right slightly. Once I figured that out it was better.
