Obstacle Sensing System - Can you still catch the P4 while it is landing?

P4 is far more stable in a hover, down to 0.3 meters, vs. the 1.5 meters of the P3, making for even easier handcatching from below and behind, so as not to trigger the front facing Obstacle Avoidance system. The P4 VPS can also engage at 33 feet during descent, instead of at 9 feet on the P3, leading to more stabilty during descent, as well.

At the end of this video he does a hand-catch of the P4. Seems to be pretty effortless.

It is my experience that under windy condition. The quad will tend to move around/ up -down and the worst time to try a hand catch.

Don't fancy those blades so close to my eyes. I just use this .. Use a rubber-backed door mat - Cheap as chips and makes a great helipad!

I can hand catch my P4 just as easily as my P3P. I bring it down to hover just about head height. "Sneek up" on it from behind. Grab a leg with my right hand. Power down with the left.
