NVIDIA Shield K1 at Amazon

Just ordered a tablet from Amazon. It is for Amazon Prime members only but you can sign up for a 30 day free trial. They say that they may have a 1-2 day shipping delay. But I took a shot and ordered one and it gave me a delivery of September 1.

Worth a shot, we'll see if it comes in ok. Plus the price was knocked down to $191!

How much smaller is the screen of the K1 compared to an iPad Air-2?

Here's the difference:

Nvidia Shield K1: 8 inch screen with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution (see full specs here)
iPad Air 2: 9.7 inch screen with 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution (see full specs here)

I just got an email from Amazon and my K1 has shipped and will have it tomorrow so they must really have some.

I recommend the Mr Shield anti-glare screen protector for the K1. I've never had to use a screen cover - and we have bright days here in the Winter.
