Nvidia shield and P3A best settings

Hi guys

About to unpack my phantom 3 advanced. Just picked up Nvidia shield tablet k1. Wanted some inputs and advice:

- Should I update P3A to the latest firmware or start with factory
- For shield, should I update to 7.0 or remain with 6.0? I'm hearing that 7.0 or nouggat is causing issues?
- which android app should I use to fly. Dji default?
- recommended setting for shield? Airplane mode? With Wi-Fi on? Lol no idea.

I always update my firmware on the P3P.

I updated my Shield to 7 and have had no issues.

Personally, I use Litchi all the time. the only times I use DJI Go is to calibrate the IMU or update the firmware. I deleted the DJI app because I kept have connection issues when starting up. Since I deleted it, no problems.

I don't think it matters what mode you leave the Shield since it doesn't have cellular. I always have the wifi on in case I need to connect to my iPhone to cache the maps. Seems to work fine for me.

3rd party app to plan flights. Has more features than DJI's app. I does cost money though, around $25 for Android. Search for it here or on Youtube.
