 Now the rest of the story ??
Haha luckily not my drone. Just saw it online I thought it was pretty funny
mmm ever heard of photoshop!!!
It's actually not photoshopped, but I remember the original source said it was a stunt - they basically released the extra, unattached battery using a servo.
This is how my first Phantom 1 was destroyed. Those **** flimsy battery doors and the very tight compartment...
Was about 150 ft AGL doing some aggressive flying (no camera attached) when I saw the battery slide out, dangle, hanging from the connector for just a moment, then detach and both the battery and the drone plummeted to earth.
Had to buy a new frame and immediately replaced the battery door with a larger 3D printed one.
