Looks like he crashed or dropped it. I don't think it came that way. There is no decals or plastic on anything in that box. I hope crashed. Hopefully it's strong enough to withstand a drop.

That's what I was thinking. I've seen a lot of Phantom crash pictures bit never an arm completely sheered off.

It might be user error, but the damage makes the shell look brittle.

Never seen an arm on a P3P snap of like that........

That's not good news. I crashed my P2 full speed into a metal roof and snapped off my GoPro, Gimbal and lost the battery. Unscrewed the gimbal and was flying in 15 minutes. The P2 was really durable.

Hope you get a laugh and like The Talking Heads.

Sure wish we had the story behind that photo. Maybe the box got crushed in shipping. That's the only reason I would think Apple would swap it out so easy. If it was a warranty replacement I would think Apple would tell the guy to call DJI. I don't see any scratches that would support a crash theory.

I bet some enterprising young man is creating a mold as we speak to offer carbon fiber P4 shells for $250/ea.

What was the rationale for Apple exchanging the damaged P4 for a new one?
