no wifi signal on dji app

i can connect to the camera fine, when flying i can see everything fine

but the wifi bars on the app are grey from take off, they never turn blue

any ideas?

I always put my ip5s into airplane mode and go into wifi settings turn it on and if my home wifi shows i tell it to 'forget this network' and connect to Phantom.xxxxx

iOS or Android? I use android and I get this, but only occasionally. I find that backing out of the camera display to main menu then selecting camera again sorts it out... Are you getting this all the time? If so, and you haven't already done so, try a restart on your phone/device and then try removing and re-installing the app to see if it clears.

Hi,

The same no wifi signal on app problem is happening to me. I already re-set me adroid Note 2 back to fac new, still no help. I've tried everything! I took me friend Note 2 through a different wireless carrier (Verison), and the wifi bars turned blue. Went back to my Note 2 on (Sprint) and back to grey they went.

Nice app - thanks! I have not had the wifi signal strength problem you guys are seeing. Samsung s3/Android 4.3 and Nexus 10/Android 4.4.
