OK, motor out 45 minutes to a wildlife preserve, beautiful day, birds everywhere. Moderate swell, no wind, nice sun. Get the ol P3P out and start up - no video. Everything else works, I get telemetry, it will start, the gimbal works. No camera functions .....
Turn off the RC and the bird, turn it back on. Replace the lightening connector. Remove the HDMI monitor, try Litchi and Autopilot. Check the cables, push them in, rebind the bird. Nada.
So I take a bunch of still pictures. Motor back. Look around the site for any help, nothing shows up. So I start the thread and the board helpfully puts some hopefully relevant threads below (nice touch,BTW). One of them talks about reseating the SD card on a P2.
Hell, I'll try anything.
That works.
Totally odd. If the card is completely out of the slot, video works but it complains. If it's mostly but-not-quite-all-the-way inserted - nothing.
Just one more DJI gotcha to deal with. At least the fix was cheap.
