I decided to take the plunge and picked up a Phantom 3 Pro today since the prices were pretty good. I got home hoping to just set it up and it needed the firmware updated but just my luck......no micro sd adapter. I guess I'll try to find one at work tomorrow.
Looking forward to getting things set up.

You can copy files to the memory card from your computer if you connect the included USB cable from your computer to the USB port on the gimbal.

I picked up a micro sd adapter from Office Max a couple days after I bought mine, and it was only $1.13 I believe. My wife just picked up a couple 64gb micro sd cards from Best Buy during their Black Friday sales...$19.99 apiece. They came with the adapter too.

those micro sd adapters have a habit of going down the dumper real quick.
went through a couple of them.

I haven't used the 64gb cards yet, but I'm wondering if I need to put the latest update onto the card before I insert it into the P3P..

Transcend makes a very reliable, inexpensive, and speedy memory card reader. I've been using mine without fail for nearly two years now.
