Nikon J1?

Hey guys. I am pretty new to the phantom. I use a gopro white, but for what I do it's fish eye makes it really hard to see the runners I am filming. I have a cannon 7d(obviously not comparable with the phantom) for stuff on the ground. Works great!! I also have a Nikon J1 that doesn't get used to much. Could this be my solution?

I'm not familiar with the camera first hand, but do like the fact that it is not limited to just a fish eye lens.
