Nik Collection from Google (Image Processing)

Re: Anyone using the Nik Collection from Google

Nik workflow. I'm even talking like a pro now "workflow" :D

Before JPG from FC200 and after...

Lens Correction applied. Cropped so horizon was level. 3 clicks with Nik Collection. 1. Sharpen 2. Define 3. HDR

Probably good for small prints and web viewing.

The final result could probably be better with some fine tuning in Nik and if I would have started with RAW. I'm also noticing some right edge softness creeping into this camera. I'm thinking of sending this one back to see if I can get another which is sharper edge to edge.

Just read a blog that says sharpen should be the last thing you do in your Nik workflow and define should be the very first thing you do. My pictures in the link most likely suffered from the reverse workflow. My wife said the sky was pretty so I'm happy. ;)
