I'm very happy with mine, it works well, is a good size, has a good screen and good battery life .... and you can get them for a good price.
Make sure you get the 2013 version with the camera in the back.

I'm with Meta4. My Nexus 7 2013 works very well but I'm thinking of getting some type of hood for better visibility in bright light. Very stable (except for the 1.2.6 firmware caused crash), good battery life and perfect size.

another happy camper here. I'm using the Asus (Google) Nexus 7 2nd gen 2013 and it works great. It also seems to be the best bang-for-the-buck I've seen in the forums.

If anyone has found anything better for the price, please share it with the rest of us.

There has been some reports of problems if you update to latest Android Version.
It will nag about it but you can decline the update indefinitely.
For a device almost exclusively running Phantom Apps(s) this won't be a problem.

I tried the update some days ago and any glitches appear to have been ironed out.

    Looking good so far ..................................
