Anyone have any idea when the next wave of firmware updates will be available? Talk was that we would see something in December probably with some flight restrictions.

Firmware is released when DJI are happy that it's ready - not to a calendar schedule.
When you say restrictions, you probably mean the new GEO program.
It's not restrictions at all.

Depends where you live. Washington, D.C. Is going to expand from15.5 miles to 35 miles so yes it a major restriction for some.
