I think they stop flashing once it's charged

The flashing lights will shut off when the battery is fully charged.

You don't need to charge the controller very often it lasts for ages.

Yeah it's good like that, though I've found if I don't check. My tablet tries to charge off the RC.

I'm going to try the simulator tomight. Probably won't get to fly it for a few days. Calling for high of 20 tomorrow with snow and gusts of 45 mph. I'd tryit today, but my IPad won' be here until tomorrow. It a shame because it's 26 and 5 mph wind. It'll happen soon enough. Thanks again for the help.
