Ever since the new update I cant get more than about 1000-1200 feet away without losing the video feed. Transmitter seems fine, I just keep losing the live view.

I have had that since the P3P was released, posted about it at first too. I don't know how they get those distances. Plenty of strength on Tx weak to nothing on video and I haven't seen anything on setting distance only vertical and that's at 500m. Beginner mode has both but I don't use it.

You might want to review the way your antennas are pointing?
The flat sides of the antennas should be facing your Phantom.
