New to drones - concerned about CSC

I suppose I see it as, "You could be driving down the highway, cut the wheel hard left, throw the gearshift in reverse, & turn off the key. But why?"

I don't think anyone in their right mind would spend that kind of money for a Phantom and intentionally crash it. What seems absolutely crazy in your mind really happens by accident sometimes.

It's not that I think it would be an intentional act. I just can't get my head around what one would be trying to do to wind up with the sticks in a CSC position?
