I'm seeing a spattering of Phantom 2 Vision/Vision+ shells available, now, that are being termed "new style".

Anyone know if they're 100% compatible with older P2Vs (my P2V currently has the "old style" shell, apparently)? What is the larger access opening for, exactly (why was the design change needed)? And does the loss of that 5th center screw mean I won't be able to mount something, down the road, that I might want to mount?

thanks!

The new shell design is to accomodate the Zenmuse H3 3D gimbal. Other than that same shell.

Thanks EMCSQUAR!

So if I'm still using the FC200 camera and standard mount/gimbal on my non-plus Vision, the new shell design should still work for me? Lord knows I would love to put a Zenmuse on my Vision, but I don't think that'll be coming.

So that means I can now connect an H3-3D to my Vision, right? ;-)

Thanks guys. Just what I needed to know. Shell ordered. Hopefully I'll be back up in the sky this weekend.
