New quick little video, advice welcome.

Just made a quick little vid. Haven't used iMovie in years so I'm a little rusty.

Do me a favor and be brutally honest in the critique of my techniques, scene selections, and overall videography. I need tips, tricks and pointers for filming.

**** that brought back memories bro... moved away 3 years ago now... used to be the crane operator for Hawaii Stage and Lighting and did the setup for Lantern Floating ceremony every year right there where you were filming... did a lot of boat engine jobs right next door at Kewalo's and my wife worked right across the street at Pier One...

So ... as a totally biased review of your video... it was AWESOME... it was TOO SHORT... and... POST MORE VIDEOS!!! :ugeek:

i have gigs worth of video... just need to edit it all. needless to say, i spend a lot of my time out in the water surfing then behind the screen editing lol.

I liked it a lot. Very nice. I would try to fly closer. The focal length on the cameras make everything look further away than you are so getting closer to your subject would make it more engaging.

I realize this is easier said that done with FPV

2nd video is cool as well brah... Ala Moana beach... ChinaMans Hat Kualoa beach Park... Makapuu Sea Life Park... Triangle Park Diamomd Head Black Point... Kailua Beach (Lanikai? Couldn't tell)... Rabbit Island from the Heiau... and the end of Waikiki at Kapiolani park with the last shot looking at the Natatorium... (i thought they were gonna tear that down)
