Barling is in Essex, England and is located approximately 6 km (3.7 mi) northeast of Southend-on-Sea. Barling is by Barlinghall Creek, a tributary of the River Roach.
This video took 3 attempts, technical issues stopped me flying in the Summer and given the wide expanse of water I wanted to be 100% confident with the craft. When I was finally happy with everything winter had arrived, so it was quite windy from a cold North East wind straight off the North Sea, not ideal conditions but the light was great.
