Hello, I'm getting close to purchasing the P3A and from reading posts I understand there have been some improvements to the motors. So my question is, is there a lot number or anything on the box to identify this?

Search the forums for a picture of the new motors, the picture of the new motor will be on the box. With that said there is no proof the new motors are any better than the existing ones.

The photo on the box is different. The new box shows the flat design of the new motors.

I have an Advanced. Some say the old design is better....some say the new design is better.
I think you either get a really good one or a good one. Luck of the draw.
I wouldn't sweat it too much either way.

The P3 (Advanced or Professional) are both great platforms and you'll love the P3A.

IMO...My P1 flies better than my P3 all day long and twice on Sunday.
But I'm sure you'll get 1000 different opinions if you ask 1000 different people. :)

I have the old motors, and honestly even if I could try one with the new motors, it wouldn't affect me because it flies great just the way it is!

There's been nothing to indicate that the new motors are an improvement.
    They are just different.
