New Phantom 2 compass compatibility with Phantom 1?

Just wondering... do someone knows if the new anti static compass for the Phantom 2 works on a Phantom 1?

I don't see why it wouldn't. The only issue might be the cable length; you may have to extend it.
(A P2 main board will have the compass socket on it, rather than having to route through the GPS.)
