RTFM four times. Looking for experience. Just got my replacement for a defective one today. Please just comment on the order of things based on experience.

Cold IMU Calibration
gimbal calibration

Correct order out of the box?

- Calibrate the IMU (even if it's not required)
- Calibrate the gimbal
- Calibrate the remote controller (RC)
- Calibrate the compass

Firmware update? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Don't do it! You'll need another replacement. 1.1.9 is flawless for me, no important bugs were attempted to be fixed with 1.2.6 so why risk it?

Thx. Although Dronesetc was awesome to deal with, I'm going on vacation and don't want issues. Missed a lot of flight time with shipping back and forth.

One more thing: not updating firmware have anything to do with voiding warranty? Thanks for your thoughts. Seriously I'm gun shy right now.

Nope. It's okay to fly on old firmware.

This is why you might not want to update the firmware right now.

Wow. Well I just registered the new one and there is a red triangle with exclamation point that says "update required". I do have a GPS lock it appears. Should I just ignore it? Just don't want to lose this thing. Thanks again for your thoughts.
