New owner, question about buzzing near camera

So I stuck my battery in today, and my unit is making some light buzzing that is going on and off around the camera area. Is this normal ? The sound sounds like a motor is doing something, but nothing is going on. I had nothing else attached or turned on, didn't matter which position the on/off switch was in, or if the cord was plugged into the back.

that noise is the digital servo that move the camera up and down ... dont worry, is normal

You are hearing the small cooling fan that is inside the camera.
So yes.. It's a motor and normal

Hmmm... I wonder what the MTBF is on that fan. I guess if you STOP hearing the noise, you know it's gone...

the noise of vimeo video is not the fan ... it is the digital servo that move the camera up and down !
