I bought the 2313 motors to replace th stick motors on my vision, I replaced the motors by cutting the wires and soldering a connection, did all 4 and only one comes on, one other twitches and the other two are just dead. I don't see how but did I fry 3 esc's while doing the swap. They are version 2.1 esc. Anyone had a similar issue after motor upgrade, help me out.

If you replaced the 2212's then unless you changed out the ESC's they should have been 2.0's .I just did this again last week for the second time and I did not cut but soldered to the ESC's .I have to be missing something here .
Are the motors you took out 2212's ?
Are you sure you have the 2.1 esc's ?
Did you cross any of the wires ?
Cables should look like this 2 across from each other IMG_1162.JPG and the other 2 like this IMG_1163.JPG .
2.1 ESC will say it on the board like this Matching ESC.JPG .
I don't see how you could have fried anything but need something to look at . Ya got any pictures ?

Yes, they are 2.1 esc, stickers says that anyway, here is a couple of pics, this is the one that twitches. All the rest look the same.

This sounds sooo much like the ole' "screws into the motor windings" common with prop guard donning and doffing.

Is it possible the screws are too long and continued into the bottom of the motor and damged some coil windings??

I know what you mean, I did that in the past, but these motors are different on the bottom, you can see the screw if it goes to far, I only used the screws that came in the dji package.

OK... I don't think even though they say they 2.1's they are . I have had 2 P2V's that I have made into V3's with the 2312 motors
and the ESC's that come with the 2212's are not 2.1's or were not in ether of mine . I had to replace them with 2.1's which have
this color on top of the resister Matching ESC.JPG . I'm not sure being 1 spins with yours that is what's wrong but I do remember awhile
back in the plus section they were having problems with not having the right 2.1's and were telling they had the right one by that
color you see on my resister .
I guess what I am saying is if yours came with 2212 motors and you didn't change the ESC's out them you have are not 2.1's .

I was wondering about that because it looks like a sticker saying 2.1 was placed over another sticker of the same size on the esc. So what should I replace them with, what's the best option.

I made sure and got the right 2.1's
I noticed that in your picture and not just sure what that's all about but do know mine came with 2.0's with the 2212's .
Why 1 spins up though has me puzzled .
