Hi to all,
I recently purchased a Phantom 2 and was not happy with the OEM landing gear. I replaced them with a similar type of gear, but found it to be even more flexing, so I decided on a carbon fiber two strut gear. I have read that the compass must be in a very similar position as originally mounted or it will not calibrate when turned on.
I went ahead and mounted the original landing gear back in place along with the new gear so that I could mount the compass back in its original position. However when I go to calibrate the compass, it only goes green in the horizonal plane. When I turn the Phantom vertically to complete the calibration I only get very rapid flashing red lights. Can anyone please tell me what I can do to correct this so I can continue with setting up my Phantom 2?
Thanks a bunch for the assistance.
Cheers,
