I apologize if this is redundant but research isn't answering all of my questions. I'm not new to the RC hobby but I am new to drones. I'm stuck between getting the advance or the standard. From what I can tell:

The advanced video resolution isn't as good but it gets longer range, has more bells and whistles on the transmitter, and has more satellites accesable (Russian and US).

It seems to be about $300 more also.

I plan on going with the advanced as I will be using it for recreational purposes and not professionally.

Is there any reason I should just go with the standard? Can any of you guys who have owned both give me some advice? I know there are more differences than what I listed but those are important ones to me.

The difference in distance alone is worth the money. Not to mention the advance will do 2.7k as well as 1080p recording.

Advanced - 2.7k is awesome, it actually plays really well on my old pc - where as 1080p & 4k don't. I have the p3p btw

....the only thing that separates the Phantom from all the others is lightbridge. I don't think standard has it.
