New Go App update not working

So I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 and before the most recent update, it worked just fine. After the update, I can't even open it. It starts up, I see the intro screen then it blacks out, closes and says "Unfortunately DJI Go has stopped." Could it be a bug or is my phone knocked off the list for compatibility? I tested my Samsung Galaxy Tab Lite 3 and it seems to work ok. I like my phone better because of less glare on the screen but it looks like I might have to start using my tablet now. Anybody else having problems with the new update?
 
I just set it up on a Nexus 7 (2013) and used it for about a 15 minute flight. The only issue far was that initially it said "no signal" in red. A soon as I switched from photo to video the signal was normal / green. Also, I'm running it with google services enabled and have not experienced much lag.
