brand new phantom 2 v2.0 with h3-3d out the box. set it all up and updated all the firmware that needed it including the gimbal. have nd filter on hero 4 black so have coins on back and side of gimbal to balance. when system is on gimbal stays pointed down at about a 45 degree angle. can use remote to rotate cam straight down, try to point cam straight ahead and it will not go above that 45 degree down angle. lots of whirring noises coming from gimble. noise stays pretty constant but i notice goes down to almost nothing for seconds then gets loud again.

maybe all this is normal...just not sure. TIA for help

Latest firmware makes gopro point 45 degs = good. Previous firmware had it pointing down and banging the table when initialising.

    As for tilt control...
Start your RC assist and calibrate all sticks INCLUDING your X1/CH7. Close the RC assist and start the Phantom Assist and calibrate all sticks and X1/ch7. Then select "upgrade mode" to enable relative tilt movement.
