New Firmware For Advanced & Pro - Official Release

    New Firmware Here

    Pro Overview:
    1. All-in-One Firmware Updated to:v1.5.0030
    2. DJI GO app for iOS Updated to:v2.4.2
    3. DJI GO app for Android Updated to:v2.4.1
    New Features:
    1. Added 2.7K resolution for video recording.
    2. Optimized Waypoint feature.
    Notes:
    1. The firmware can be downgraded to v1.4.10 or later only.
    2. Video recording in 2.7K is only available in the Android version of the DJI GO
    app at the moment. Support for the iOS version is coming soon


    Advanced Overview 2015.11.25
    Overview:

    Per the usual, I don't recommend installing this right away. Give it a few days and keep an eye on the DJI forum (and any threads created by brave souls on this forum) to see how the installation goes for others.

    For anyone who wants to proceed with the firmware update, here are the resources you'll need:

    Phantom 3 Advanced

    Phantom 3 Professional
    If you installed the 1.4 firmware update, you can install this update the same way. If you're new to firmware updates, here are detailed instructions for installing the firmware on your Phantom, remote controller, and batteries.

    Note: Don't forget to check all of your settings in the DJI GO app after installing the update. Some important settings (e.g. RTH altitude) will be reset to their default settings. You should also re-do all of the calibrations. See step #48 here for more details.
