The latest firmware v 1.9 for the P3P was released back in June. It included an update for the battery also for cold weather conditions. With winter just around the corner and already here in some locations, has anyone flown this firmware in cold temps below 32f ? How cold have people flown in?

There are many posts on flying at low temperatures, search them. V1.9 should be good FW for such cold conditions but you still need battery warmer before flying.

Couldn't get my batteries to fly at 35f in September. P3p errors out and wouldn't take off.

Placed one in cabin for an hour to warm up. P3p fired up and flew but checking the cells all showed low voltage in the red.

Moral of the story is make sure the battery is warm in the center and check cell voltage in the app.

I realize there are many threads about cold weather flying. My question was about cold weather flying with the v1.9 firmware update and if there were any improvements that people have noticed.
