New DJI 9450 Props coming out for P/P2/E300

I'm hearing offhand reports that they are showing up, but a lot of shops are just mistaking them for standard 9" props as well...it's kind of confusing...

I can understand why as the packets just say E300 until you look at the small numbers so people probably aren't noticing them !!

I just got two sets of the new 9450 propellers from Droneparts/Germany. On the first impression they look identical to the original props, maybe very slight modifications barely visible. But they are much more stiff compared to the originals, especially near the blade tips. Seems mainly to be a different material mix.
I will now balance them and do a test flight as soon as possible, but maybe not today because of strong wind forecast.

$20 is what the P2 props go for they only recently dropped down $15 a set

I use USPS for shipping with them I get my orders from them within 2 days I used ups on my first order took 5 days and cost more .

One other thing I noticed when testing that's worth mentioning is their behavior at the onset of VRS. Not only do they give you enough extra lift to help avoid it in the first place, but you also have more of a buffer between when the effects start and when they become fatal. Even if you still manage to get yourself into a potential VRS situation, as long as you're keeping an eye on the Phantom you'll have a bit more time to react to the warning signs and counter it.

We just received our first shipment of the 9450's if anyone is still looking. Also, we just received the new Gaui 9443 folding props which have the option of using a 2 blade hub or 3 blade hub. They are sold in packs of four blades so you get two 2 bladed props per package but they don't come with a hub so you can purchase the two three blade hub packs (2 hubs in each pack) and 4 of the folding props (2 cw and 2 cow) and you have a full set of 3 bladed folding props for your phantom. Also, the 2 and 3 blade hubs include built in self tightening threads that attach directly to the DJI Phantom, Phantom 2, Phantom 2 Vision or Phantom 2 Vision+ motors.

Thanks for the review IO. I lost a plus when a buddy induced some VRS. He had no idea what to was or how to get out of it. I was amazed to see it fall. Now I have a new one but I'm on edge every time I fly. I'll give these new propas a try.

I had some test flights meanwhile in both windy and calm conditions and didn't feel a big difference compared to the original props. But I decided to increase my pitch and roll gains a bit.

On the link above, it says "Achieve about 2 minutes extra flying time". Is this just a marketing ploy or would you really get extra flying time out of it??

I didn't measure the flight time, but from my feeling there was no big difference. To really measure it I would need a day with almost no wind and do just hovering with both sets of propellers and using the same battery for both flights.
