This seems to be a must have if you fly with an IOS device, however it is advertise for the new vision plus v3(can't understand why, is there something the v3 has other than new props, tilt wheel tx, motors, etc that the plus v2+ doesn't have).
The app will be released soon, I know there was some issues with the previous app that were debunked but this seems to be legit, take a look:

Should be available around Christmas.

flyNfrank, seems you have some inside knowledge. Any idea why version 3 is required?

Hopefully, the developer or friend of... will chime in and enlighten us with the logistics of this App. I fly with an Android device, this app if functional would have me flying with an ios device...sooner than later... The fact that one can zoom in during filming is intriguing...

I would assume any zoom while filming feature would be strictly a digital zoom. Couldn't be optical as we don't have a movable lens.

Sorry. Can someone show me where it shows it zooming? I don't see it listed in the features but that definitely would be cool, even though it would only be digital zoom.
My bad... I mistook auto map zooming for camera zooming. ..
That would be a great feature if it was included

Is it not just V3 of the booster app, rather than V3 of the Vision +?
Good call. They definitely mean version 3 of their app.

FPV Camera is an In-App purchase upgrade for iOS Version 3.0 of "FPV Booster for Vision+" users.

Anyone know if there will be an upgrade path?

I only purchased Version 2 last week, it would be nice if the author allowed an upgrade.

An upgrade path... like $50 off of $8? Doubt it.

I recently bought version 2 as well. I'll have no trouble shelling out another $8 for verison 3.

I spoke with the developer, it was mainly asking when the app would be ready. I also asked if 0iS or Android would be 1st available and haven't gotten a response on that yet.

And elsewhere in news.... I got info from DJI SDK Developement today letting it be known that they have opened up the SDK to everyone. You can download the sdk and create us all some new apps. I'm guessing you will have access to everything except the Ground Station.

I posted some info below. You will need to login to access most of the pages.
