New Battery Question

Hello to all, am a very new DJI P3P owner. Have had it two weeks, made my first flight last evening. Everything worked perfectly, spent about 18 minutes flying, made several landings, turns, and direction changes. Stayed under 50 feet, a real pleasure to fly.

My name is George and I live near Albion MI. Also am a licensed pilot.

My question is how do I prepare three new battery's for flight?

Have read they need to be charged and programed. How exactly do you program a new battery?

Have searched the list but can't seem to find any pertinent information on the procedure, if there is one.

How exactly do you program a new battery?

The DJI GO app will alert you if there is a firmware update available for the current battery. Keep in mind that the firmware update needs to be installed on each battery. You can find installation instructions here (see step #36).

Put the latest FW on an SD card, put in a battery, turn on the craft. Wait. Shut off craft. Repeat for each new battery. That is all.
