Hello,

Tomorrow i am shooting some pics and movies at a big dutch festival. Tonight i made some pictures and movies already. When its getting darker i think my photo and video settings should be a bit better. Any advice on this?

The pictures seem a bit pixelated, i think its because of the ISO setting? I have it on automatic, should i manualy adjust this at night?

For video's i am shooting in 720p 60 fps and at night i let it focus on the center of the screen and have the rest on auto, whitebalance, iso etc. I do this because of all the disco lights at the stages.

Any tips or advice guys?

These are my preferences.

faster frames = faster shutter speeds.
faster shutter speeds = less light coming in.
1080p@25 frames is the lowest therefore the shutter speed is the lowest.

If you want faster frames, you can always up the exposure, but you will forfiet some quality.

Lock in 100/200 iso so you dont the yellow/purple tinge that appears randomly.
I find anything greater than 200 ISO is too noisy.
Lock in CLOUDY.

Also tape up the front permanent red lights. They bleed into the video
