There are several balancing devices sold, what is your favorite?
I've seen mention of gaffer's tape and sanding as a way to balance; what are the pros/cons? Is there another method that I should consider?
Thanks in advance,
Carey

the DuBro prop balancer is the tops.
google up some videos on it, and you'll see that some people use CA glue or nail polish to add to the underside of the props.

I use a top flight magnetic balance. It only has 1 point of contact on the balance bar so virtually no friction. I have polished with 1200grit sandpaper and polishing compound. both the balance bar and the 2 very powerful magnets faces to further reduce friction. When I balance I go between 400/600/1200 grit sandpaper sanding the bottom of the propeller. The different grit sandpapers makes it easy to remove weight and balance the props.
