Hey guys I scrapped the black glue from the receiver and the White glue from the transmitter and I believe I did it right since it didn't break or get loose now I just received my new 20 cm 5.8 ghz cables from fpvlr after installation my phantom is blinking yellow lights it's not recognising the transmitter connections are not lose I checked the only one thing that is coming in my mind is that the two black connectors on the receiver the ones which are suppose to be removed during the process and are supposed to be labeled as left an right what if I have mixed them up could that be of any relevance?

Nice job removing the black goo of death...you must've been very patient. You can connect either antenna to either connector, you'll get the same results.

As far as the blinking yellow lights go, you'll need to bind the quad to the transmitter again. I had the same problem when I installed new the stage 2 on my bird. Youtube the verbage, 'how to bind your phantom 2 vision plus', and you'll be flying in no time!

These are the one I am talking about. Yea it took me an hour to do so I did try to bind it last night don't know why it didn't respond I think we have to press the red button on the phantom.

    Thanks for appreciating
