Need help with IMOVIE software..

Hello everyone..looking for tips or any kind of advise on editing . I understand how to grab the clips I want and move to the bottom etc.. My problem is, if I don't want the clip I'm having a hard time removing it from the bottom.. The most I can get it deleted is down to one second..That last ONE SECOND clip needs out. Hope this picture helps..I actually have 2 right next to each other. Also is there music inside App or do I need to import my own? Thanks for any help

Watching it now thank u..new IMAC computer..didn't have my mouse set to click right side clicker..that's why I couldn't delete

Select the clip (it will go yellow), press the delete key
