Need help,My Phantom want connect

Hello,I have got a Phantom 3 Professional and my problem is it want connect to DJI go,it got the last software installed,I use a IPad Air and follow the instructions first the controller and the phantom then plug the USB but according to the instructions go to equipment press it but no live view? Try also to a Galaxy S5 but again same problems,I spoken to the seller and it say is maybe because I don't use a genuine Apple USB lead,I leave in the UK in Kent
