I have the Fatshark goggles running FPV on my Phantom 1. They are cumbersome to use in my opinion, and a small monitor mounted on the controller would be so much more useful. Can anyone advise me on what the best FPV monitoring system is including antennas, etc.? I'm assuming I need to start from scratch rather than just replace goggles with monitor? Also, I'm not interested in running goggles output to a small monitor. My goal is an easy to use efficient FPV system with long range. Thanks for any advice.

you don't need to start from scratch. Right now you have a transmitter sending the signal from the Phantom, yes? and your goggles receive the signal, or have a little receiver which grabs the signal then plugs into them.
Regardless, all you have to do is get a display that is compatible with the transmitter and boom, done.

Which transmitter are you running on the Phantom?
