NAZAM won't recognize controller

i turn on the controller, plug the battery in, then plug the USB from the mini port on the outside to the computer. The computer makes a noise to say it's connected, and the light on the phantom goes to steady green, so it seems to work, but then nothing happens with the controller.
really appreciate any help

Are the two lights on the lower left hand corner of your computer screen blinking? If not,it means the drone and computer are not ''talking'' to each other. You may have to download the driver.

Check your Receiver type, i had a similar issue and i had the wrong receiver type selected
