Naming your drone in the DJI App

    How do you do that please

    It keeps saying choose a name for you phantom clicking the icon does nought hmmm any suggestion folks

    Yes. Open the dji go app. Down in the right corner. You will see it say me. Click that. After you open it. Your name or whatever name will be at the top with artwork. Click the arrow in upper right. Then click edit in upper right. Name it whatever you want.

    It has to be able to connect to DJI to register the name, but if you are already connected to the Phantom's Wi-Fi it can't because it's trying to connect to the DJI internet site via the Phantom network. Assuming your device is cellular enabled, while at the screen with the name for your aircraft typed in, turn off Wi-Fi (or the Phantom's controller) so your device can use the cellular network to communicate with the DJI website. Give it a few moments to connect & register your aircraft with her name, then turn the controller back on or re-enable Wi-Fi on your device so it reconnects to the Phantom.
