My WiFi is confused

Just purchased vision 2+. The DJI app on my Samsung S4 says internet connected, WiFi not connected. The Samsung WiFi itself says connected to Phantom. Why would they say the opposite? Could I need a firmware upgrade which I have yet to do? Thanks in advance!
 
I seem to remember on Samsungs you had to change some setting such that it doesn't automatically change out wifi's when it doesn't see the internet. Check out the wifi settings.
 
A couple of things to try:
- put phone in airplane mode, then turn on wifi
- try "forgetting" all wifi connections except for the Phantom
