Big time question that I cannot get an answer to anywhere. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm going to assume that mine will ship with firmware version 3.16!? OK, here is the question. If all I want to do at this point is verify what version is on the Phantom when I get it, can I download the latest 2.18 assistant software and driver and hook up the Phantom and look under the "Info" tab to see which firmware version I have WITHOUT corrupting any existing parameters? Lots of guys are having trouble upgrading to firmware version 4.0, so until I get really get familiar with what I'm doing, I do not want to risk screwing something up by going directly to a V.4.0 upgrade attempt. All I want to do is see what firmware version I'm running.
    TIA

DJI has a few different firmwares up on their server, they just severed the download link on the website. So, load 2.18 NAZA software to see what version firmware you have, then hack the url to load the right version. I've had tons of problems with 3.16 firmware, so I'd upgrade if I were you. 3.14 and 4.00 have both been excellent for me. Here's the links and you can figure it out from there:
