My P3P controller will not stay on. HELP Plz

I have a new problem with my P3P controller. When I try to power it up now, the left most led does not ligtht at all and the other four light up for about three seconds and then go dead. The battery is charged and shut when I charged it. Nothing I have tried works.

UPDATE:

I went ahead and opened the controller and found the battery was swollen and apparently not able to provide enough current to keep the controller active.

Thanks for the replies, After many flights, I know that it turns on with one push followed by a second just like the quad. But thanks for the suggestions!

Now off to find a replacement battery.

Sounds like your not turning it on. Press the button once to check the battery level then press it and hold it for two seconds to turn the transmitter on...

One press is how you/we check our intelligent flight battery level.
Double press and hold for a couple seconds and the power up cycle initiates.

Perhaps "RTFM" again, and then "RTFM" one more time... ;-)

It works the same for the radio controller, single click to check power level. And a double click to power on.
But of course you already knew this, from "RTFM"!! Hahaha
