I made this video during a nice day I had on the beach last week after I finished paddle boarding.

    My best work so far.

Nice job.. Did you capture using FPV? How far away do you think you were from your quadcopter?

yes I used FPV - a 7" blackpearl monitor coupled with a immersion RC.

You know... I can't remember exactly how high and far I went. Perhaps 400ft up and 500ft away on that first part of the video.

I can't see the quad after I am 120ft away. I found that FPV is necessary to shoot anything interesting. After a few scares I refuse the fly the quad without FPV - its the best insurance policy I have.

Looks good. Guess you caught a day without the windy conditions we've had lately.
The only thing I've had time to do is test out the gimbal I put on my vision. Seems to work well, went out on one of the really windy days we had to test it over at the sand pits in W.Greenwich. Here's the link http://youtu.be/6ug1mq0M72E.
    Some day we'll hook up.

Hey slicknet. Good start to you video shooting future! Hope you have got some more day out there recently. Weather has been nice.

Have you going any other cool places to shoot? I find that early or late there the wind is pretty light.
